TGS 2007: Deca Sporta Badminton, Snowboarding, Archery gameplay videos
If Wii Sports got you hooked, then Hudson Soft‘s Deca Sporta could be the killer app in terms of titles that made very good use of the Wiimote – and we see that in action with these three gameplay videos direct from TGS 2007. Sit back, relax, and look at just what sporting events you’ll be sweating it out to come the game’s highly-anticipated release date.
This video update tackles three major sporting events: Badminton, Snowboarding, and Archery. Graphically, the game is quite solid, with the visual theme similar to that of Wii Sports (i.e. simplified facial expressions, super-deformed characters).
And just like Nintendo’s sports title, gameplay is the big star here, and darn if Archery and Badminton don’t look fun. Snowboarding looks great as well, but how does one exactly control the board with the Wiimote? Until we’re clued in to that little mystery, let’s all focus on getting our aim and our swings right. I know I will.
