The Darkness: another load of creepy screens

How would you like dark powers for your 21st birthday? Well, that’s what Jackie Estacado got on his. The Darkness from Starbreeze Studios sure is one heck of a thriller judging from this new batch of screenshots.

The Darkness looks amazing as the comic book from Top Cow Productions gets ported to next-gen. These screens illustrate Jackie’s fight against both the creatures of the Otherworld and his Mafia ex-employers. This, by the way, will go on as both a first person shooter and a third person shooter. Hmm, that red dot for targeting reminds this writer of StarCraft and an oncoming nuclear attack.

Anyway, The Darkness will slither on the shelves on Q3 this year. Check out the newest batch of screenshots and let us know what you think.
