The first hour of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption captured on video
I’ll start off this post in advance – if you don’t want to get any spoilers for the final game in the Metroid Prime series, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption for the Nintendo Wii, it’d be wise if you turned away. For this article is about a VERY long video update that has the first hour – yes, sixty minutes, all in all – of the game available for viewing, courtesy of Youtube. And boy, what a spectacular hour of some of the best FPS action featuring the goddess in armor it is!
Looking at the videos, the interaction level is considerably upped, and you get a feel for it in the first cutscene where Samus wakes up on the helm of her own spacecraft. The graphics are absolutely gorgeous, and the gameplay itself feels so smooth and fluid that things actually look too good to be true, and considering that it runs on the Wii’s hardware, Nintendo’s certainly pulled off the biggest hat-trick of all time.
