The Naruto Wii: a GameCube sequel?
You’ve probably seen the Naruto Shinobi Retsuden video from this year’s TGS. Being the Naruto fan that you are, you couldn’t help but squeal with glee when you saw Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi and the rest of the Konoha shinobis in action, DS-style. Now if only that game will come to the Wii…
Well cheer-up! In case you haven’t heard it yet, Naruto and the rest of the gang will indeed be making their way to the Wii. Although not much have been spilled about how the said game will look like, you can probably expect doing Neji’s famous “Hakke Rokujūyon Shō” with the Wiimote. Sounds fun, right?
A teaser for this game was shown at the TGS, which pretty much showed how some GameCube games have evolved and became successful. Although the specifics were somewhat lacking, our source assumes that this game will be a sequel to the GameCube version, and will probably have a four-player option. Takara/Tomy, the guys behind Naruto Shinobi Retsuden, are also going to be the ones who’ll bring Naruto to the Wii.
As we’ve said earlier, not much is known about this game. However, once we get our hands on the latest info, we’ll sure let you know, so you better stay tuned.
