The Seattle Times got hold of this photo showing one such prototype – it’s the kind that Microsoft sent out for game developers. No, it doesn’t have robo-legs – it’s just mounted on a tripod.

 

The source also mentions that Project Natal and the new iPhone are to be made in the same factory. Both Apple and Microsoft apparently hired Taiwanese manufacturer Pegatron Technology for their respective hardware. Coincidentally, both Natal and the next-generation iPhone are to be launched later this year.
