Tinnos Blufin Hybrid PMP/PDA Released

A Korean company called Tinnos is planning to release an interesting hybrid PMP/PDA that runs Windows CE and sports a 30GB hard drive at the 58th annual Tokyo business show this week. Since most of us can’t make it to Tokyo on such short notice, I’ll do my best to wade through a somewhat weak translation and paint a clear picture of what this thing can do.

The Blufin, as it is called, comes in an easily manageable size that makes the device easily portable. In fact the company claims on its site that the device is lighter than the PSP. Like the  PSP, the Blufin uses 802.11b for its wireless connections and has a 480×272 LCD screen.

Stats:
128MB of DDR2 SDRAM
4200rpm hard drive
accepts SD cards for additional storage
USB 2.0 port for transferring files
camera
options include GPS via the SD slot

Needless to say this little gadget will give users plenty of options. However, at a price around 70,000 Yen (or nearly $700) some might be put off.
