Toki Tori headed to WiiWare
We’ve got another game headed to Nintendo’s WiiWare service, and it actually stars a chick with teleportation powers. The game is Two Tribes‘ Toki Tori, and you can learn a little more about the history of the game, as well as see a trailer for it, after the jump!
Once a well-received game for the Game Boy Color, Toki Tori now looks to be making its way to the WiiWare service, as shown in the teaser site for the game, which we’ve linked to below.
For those who haven’t heard of Toki Tori though, here’s a quick recap of the original story for the Game Boy Color game made by Two Tribes. The game follows the adventures of the chick named Toki Tori as he tries to rescue his siblings, who happen to still be in their eggs. In his first adventure, he had to traverse four different worlds in search of his siblings, using various tools to aid him in his adventure.
While we don’t have any new information regarding the game at present, we do have a video that was released in late 2007. At the time, it wasn’t announced for WiiWare, but it shouldn’t matter, since it features Toki Tori using a freeze gun, some teleportation powers, and a vacuum cleaner to great effect. Enjoy!
