Japanese fans of the hit series Shutokou Battle will be racing to the stores on July 27 to test drive the next generation version of Genki’s Shutokou Battle X. In the game you will be racing up and down the streets of Tokyo.
The Shutokou Battle series has been defined by their SP Battles and now they have added another racing feature they are hoping will make this game stand out from the rest. It is called the Grid-Style Battle which allows you to start from a complete stop and wait for a counting down before you can speed off.
Some more cool features for this game are:
- Set up rules prior to the start of your race
- Take part in a ranking mode after your race
- Display your custom made car for everyone to see
- Race in the night (building lights are on), midnight (building lights turn off) and daybreak (sky brightens plus the road fill with fog)
- More tuning options for your car
Overall this game looks like a whole lot of fun and I think it will stand out in the Shutokou series with all the new features that have been added.
