Here’s a snippet:

Final Fantasy XIII overseas version is finally completed. I am sorry for the long wait. At present, members of the development team in Japan are on a New Year holiday while awaiting an approval for the master disc.

The overseas version was developed simultaneously with the Japanese one as we wanted to ensure that it comes out as soon after the Japanese release date as possible.

Toriyama also drew attention to the improvements made to the final version, one of which is a reworking of the characters’ facial animations. The movements have been synched with the English dub, as you can see in the international trailer we posted yesterday.

Final Fantasy XIII will be released simultaneously in North America and Europe on March 9.
