Transformers videos: Blackout vs. Ironhide, and Behind the Scene with Flint Dille

Finally, we’re seeing some action! In case you’ve had your fill of movie/game preview trailers over the last couple of months, allow us to clear your palette with this new video demonstrating what that Activision‘s Transformers will look using in-game graphics.

This battle video will feature a bout between Autobot Ironhide (GMC Topkick pickup), and Decepticon Blackout (MH-53 Pave Low helicopter). Of the two, we can’t help but feel a tinge of nostalgia for Ironhide – given he was killed in the original Transformers movie (circa 1986), we’re happy to see the old soldier back in action.

The second video will be a short interview with Flint Dille, one of the writers of the original Transformers series from the 80s. This short piece (two minutes long) will delve into how Flint was contacted to help with the game’s production, as well as reveal his opinions on what’s expected to make the game different from its silver screen release.
