If there’s any game that makes the life of a surgeon seem less stressful, it’s the one where you get to draw stars pretending you’re saving someone. Case in point is none other than the upcoming Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 from Atlus for the Nintendo DS, which new screenshots have been revealed.

Apparently, players can still invoke the Healing Touch in the much awaited Trauma Center sequel. We previously had to draw a star twice to slow down time, and we’re guessing rules haven’t changed as screens suggest.

It already goes without saying that while Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 looks more slick, but the interface hasn’t changed much and the tools in the original are back. Derek Stiles and Angie Thompson will return to treat tumors and heal wounds when the game reaches North America this July 1.
