Troublesome realms being fixed by Blizzard
Thundgot from the World of Warcraft forums has been on the news lately for his frequent announcements about European free migrations and free character transfers. Now, there are a lot of server issues ever since The Burning Crusade came upon us and Thundgot isn’t being mum about that. This is what he recently said:
First of all, please rest assured that our technical teams are on the matter as soon as a realm starts having issues and if needed the realm will be restarted with a 15 minute warning. After a restart we’re closely monitoring the realm’s recovery, and a second – longer – restart cycle may be needed in some cases. Don’t panic – the realm is not in a repeated crash loop.
We’re also keeping an extra eye on the realms that have been troublesome for the last few hours. Especially Crushridge and Emeriss are seeing trouble, although they’re not the only ones.
So there. At least you are assured that they are doing all they can to give you a smooth, lag-free gaming experience. We will dish out more updates as they come our way, in the meantime, you could amuse yourself with this stand-up act about WoW.
