Two free maps to come with Fat Princess patch 1.05

When 1.03 came in, Santa Monica and Titan Studios threw in the New Pork map for free. For 1.04, it was Brownie Town, also free. For the coming 1.05 patch, great news – the guys behind Fat Princess aren’t stopping their streak of free maps to come with their patches. This time, the patch comes with not one, but two free maps.

 

 

 

When 1.03 came in, Santa Monica and Titan Studios threw in the New Pork map for free. For 1.04, it was Brownie Town, also free. For the coming 1.05 patch, great news – the guys behind Fat Princess aren’t stopping their streak of free maps to come with their patches. This time, the patch comes with not one, but two free maps.

 

The patch will go live later today, March 25th, and you will be updated to version 1.05. The two maps, “Candy Mountain” and “Frost Bite” will be yours free of charge.

 

 

Apart from the new maps, Titan Studios has addressed the shield bug like they promised, as well as a few others issues that have been brought to their attention. Specifically:

• Warrior: Fixed to disallow shield activation when carrying objects, as well as attenuating damage against lava and drowning.
• Ice Mage: Changed level 1 area attack to slow enemies, not freeze them.
• Soccer map: Disabled online score saving for this level (because it was too easy to gain rank).

 

SCEA Santa Monica Studio managing producer Deborah Mars also hints at more things coming our way, so we’ll keep you posted once they put the word out.
