Ubisoft - Image 1 If you’re playing Assassin’s Creed on the Sony PlayStation 3 and you’ve observed that freezes have been occurring every so often, you’re not alone. Many others have voiced out their frustration to make Ubisoft hear them. Spotted recently in the official Assassin’s Creed forums is confirmation that a patch to fix the freeze bug is coming and hopefully, everyone will get to enjoy the game in full.

Assassin's Creed - Image 1 After Ubisoft Entertainment launched Assassin’s Creed for the Sony PlayStation 3, some users reported that freezes have been occurring sporadically throughout the game’s length. Fortunately, the game publisher heard the pleas and is going full speed ahead toward a patch.

Ubisoft’s UK Community Manager Ubirazz posted in the Assassin’s Creed forums that Ubisoft is currently working on a patch that will rectify the problem. No specific release date was stated, though everyone was assured that it will be out “as soon as possible.” Ubizazz stated:

Following our recent statement regarding the freeze issues that some consumers are facing with AssassinÂ’s Creed on PlayStation 3, we can confirm that we are actively working on a game update. This update will help improve the stability of the game and will be released as soon as possible. In the meantime thank you for your ongoing feedback and patience.

Let’s just hope this update comes real soon. Assassin’s Creed (also on the Microsoft Xbox 360) can be a really fun game minus the freezing interruptions that have left some of us gnashing their teeth in frustration.
