UK Official PS Mag: Metal Gear Solid 4 gets perfect 10, more

The lucky folks at the UK Official PlayStation Mag got first dibs on Hideo Kojima’s masterpiece, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. And guess what? The game got a perfect 10. Aside from MGS4, the magazine also dished out review scores for other games on the PS3, PSP, and PS2 platforms. That and more in the full article.

  
 

The UK Official PlayStation mag is giving us more reason to froth at the mouth in anticipation of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. Their review gave Hideo Kojima‘s latest masterpiece and final Metal Gear project a perfect 10.

The game got all aces in the review, and from the sounds of it, Snake and Kojima’s final game together is worth the teary goodbyes. Here’s an excerpt from the review:

I can’t think of another series that has remained as uncompromisingly true to its creator’s vision, and given its 21-year gestation, I doubt even Kojima himself will equal it, whatever individual triumphs follow. Ultimately this is a game for the fans – and you should be one.

They mag also dished out scores on several other games. Amazingly enough, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 only got an 8. MLB 08 The Show and Race Driver: GRID got 9 a piece. Here are the rest of their reviews:
