UMD Identifier v0.1

Harleyg has released a new program for the PSP, a first of its kind if I’m not mistaken, titled UMD Identifier v0.1. This application can identify your UMD by the code on the disc. The developer has crammed around 250 codes/games with different region info into this. When you run the application, the UMD code and the name will be displayed, along with the background image of the game displayed (pic1.png).

According to the developer, this UMD Identifier has only been tested on a 1.50 firmware. If ever the game name doesn’t show up when this is used, harleyg advises the user to copy the game ID, game name and region to the “umd code” thread on PSPUpdates, UMDDB anyone?
