Though some screens have already been proliferating all around the Internet since December – heck, you can even go find slideshows of them in YouTube – it’s only now that we get to see some good quality screens for Underworld.

Now judging from the lighting of the Mayan structures to how Lara’s body is rendered, we have high hopes for the graphics of this game. Truly, Crystal Dynamics has done a remarkable of job of bringing more realism to the game.

Other than what we can get from the screen captures of this game, Lara has set her goals towards unlocking the mysteries of the Mayan calendar and uncovering the portal between the mortal world and the underworld. It is also said that she will travel to Australia, Easter Island, Rome, the Vatican, Mesopotamia, and the Golden Triangle in Southeast Asia.
