Verizon to Grab Samsung A930?

It looks like one of Samsung’s uber babies is going to be (finally) distributed in North America. The Samsung cellphone- the hot A930 clamshell, the carrier- Verizon. Rumor has it that the New York-based communications giant has closed the deal for the distribution of the A930 in the US.

So far this is just a rumor, as there has been no announcement made and no official page launched on the internet, but someone over at the company (or a trickster, you be the judge of that) did upload a picture of the Samsung A930 complete with Verizon branding.

There has been speculation that the highly anticipated Motorola Q would also be carried by Verizon and those rumors seem to be true since the smart phone somewhat found its way to the Verizon website. Those itching to have the Samsung A930 could only wish that this rumor could also be true in their case.

If you recall, the A930 launched earlier this year, is a multimedia clamshell with external music controls, microSD expansion, a 1.3 megapixel shooter, and the usual Bluetooth connectivity. Well, let’s just keep our eyes sharp for new developments.
