Here’s an interesting video interview of Keisuke Futami, developer Clap Hanz‘s lead artist for the PlayStation 3 exclusive game Hot Shots Golf 5. The title is known in Japan as Minna no Golf 5 and was originally released there last July, 2007.

In this interview, Futami talked about the graphical progression and several changes they’ve implemented to Hot Shots Golf 5. In terms of gameplay, he admitted that their team toyed with the idea of using the SIXAXIS as a golf club.

Aside from that, the official also said that the idea behind this iteration is to make it as realistic as possible so fantasy courses are not one of its strengths. The lead artist also shared some updates regarding the title’s online component.

Anyway, we know you are rather excited now to see the video. Hot Shots Golf 5 is expected to be released in North America this March.
