Video: Gamevideos video analysis of the GTA IV trailer
Okay, since the release of the much awaited trailer for Grand Theft Auto 4, folks have been reacting a bit too quickly. For one thing several New York bigwigs felt offended that the remodeled Liberty City is now more similar to New York. However before we all go ballistic/send e-mails to defend the trailer, just calm down and remember that the Eastern European (Russian?) protagonist himself said that “Perhaps here, things will be different.”
So what are we to do? Well, what else, other than mine the said trailer for details and hope that we’d be able to – in a CSI-esque manner – pry from its corpus enough information for us to come up with a reasonable set of things to expect from the game.
QJ’s own Kyle M. did that a few days ago, noting things Liberty City signs, LCPD squad cars, post year 2000 car models, and a Visit Vice City sign. But just in case we missed anything, below is the analysis of the folks from GameVideos. Click play to see their take on it.
Yeah, we did the same thing they did. Chris L screamed “Play it again! Amp the volume!” or something like that when the thing came out. What about you folks? Anything you spotted?
