Viva Pinata cracks open for European launch

Viva PinataIn the realm of the Xbox 360, there’s currently tons of action and mature content oozing all over the place. Imagine: a world of Gears of War, Call of Duty 3, and DOAX2. How could a little kid enjoy his or her 360 if everything out there is “just for grown ups?”

Don’t worry. Pinata Island is now opening it’s doors for all those kids seeking sanctuary! Yeah, finally this little quaint island where the sun always shines and butterflies and bees hover around yellow daisies is out in the market. Now how’s that to counter all the “just for grown ups” haze?

One of the younger audience’s most anticipated games to come out this year is Viva Pinata and just right in time for the holidays!

As announced, the game from Rare Ltd hits retailers’ shelves in Europe tomorrow. For £ 44.99 (US$ 88.52), you’d be able to meet Horstachios, Fizzlybears, Fudgehogs, Mousemallows, Elephanillas, and Pretztails – just a handful of the 60 species of wild pinata roaming around the island.

This release will usher in a wave of kids into the 360 as its market is now expanding to accommodate the younglings. Watch out guys. Those confetti-furred animals are now on the lose. Who said the 360 is “just for grown ups?” Kids of all ages can party with the pinatas too!
