SG57’s done it again. He’s just made an alpha release version of an app that’ll let you do a couple of nifty things with your PSP’s frequency and USB connection. As he mentions on our forums, VSHInform Alpha is an app that’ll tell you the following:

• Battery %
• Battery Life
• CPU Frequency
• USB On/Off

VSHInform Alpha will let you change the CPU frequency through four pre-defined values, as well as toggle the USB connection on or off. It also allows you to mess toggle the visibility and the button inputs if you so desire. Currently meant to help SG57 develop Safeguard, it’ll allow you to try out your homebrew at different CPU speeds to see if the speed will directly affect anything on your planned application.

In the meantime, give it a try and let SG57 know what you think of it. Just remember to check the readme for installation instructions. Enjoy!
