The Dark Elves in EA Mythic‘s Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning may be busy trying to take the the kingdom of Ulthuan, but apparently they’re not too busy to write letters to one another.
In the narrative that follows, a Priest of Khaine by the name of Yrlthorin relates his battle field experiences to his superior, the Grand Carnifex of Har Ganeth. More WAR lore follows after the jump.
The Bard once said that joy is doubled if it’s shared with another. Perhaps that is why Yrlthorin of Ghrond, a Priest of Khaine, in the MMORPG Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning (WAR), took the time to write to his superior, the Grand Carnifex of Har Ganeth.
EA Mythic gives us a glimpse into the character of Yrlthorin as the Priest relates his experiences. Apparently, Yrlthorin was the vanguard of the fleet that first alighted on the Blighted Isle during the Druchii assault on Ulthuan.
After the corsair that he had been riding on arrived at the Isle’s beach, blood lust overcame Yrlthorin as the Priest of Khaine waded right into the thick of battle, spilling blood and claiming souls in the name of his dark god.
When his mind finally cleared, the battle was over, and the Dark Elves had won the initial skirmish against their Asur brethren. This is but one of the many front line stories and pieces of WAR lore that EA Mythic has set aside for those who love a good tale.
Expect many more stories to be told as the war between the forces of light and darkness continues.
