Warhammer Online: Paul Barnett’s final thoughts

Paul BarnettMuch has been said and done by Paul Barnett on Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, and while we were just beginning to like his colorful way of explaining things, as fast as he had reiterated the game’s strong points from its diverse character roster to its empire-driven play, we will now be settling down with the final chapter of the the Warhammer Q&A sessions.

This segment will be touching off on Paul’s final thoughts as they take the next step in the game’s development.

First off, Paul reminds us that there’s no such thing as final thoughts, “We’ve still got a year and a bit to go” as he puts it, and he’s excited over the next few months that the game will be coming together, months that he assures will be the more exciting chapters of Warhammer’s development.

At the moment, it’s sort of like a house that is three-quarters built, you know, minus the roof, and there’s still water in the front room. There is no cable in it yet. If you’ve ever ordered a house or watched a house being built, when it’s three-quarters built, you can end up tilting your head a little bit, looking like a dog that’s found that its food’s been changed, lifting and ear and going ‘I’m not sure that’s ready’…

Like he said, the game’s still far off, but keep in touch, as we expect more promos in the guise of screenshots and the like to start popping up. Too bad though, we’re gonna miss Paul’s comments.
