Warhawk release now confirmed
For some time, rumors persisted that Warhawk, a high-profile, promising game for the PS3, was cancelled. It all rooted from an anonymous tip that supposedly came straight from someone from SonyComputer Entertainmentand appeared on a news bit from RumorReporter.
The tip just mentioned that a certain game for the PS3 is cancelled. The game was never revealed but the Game-Ages message boards got hold of the rumor and they pinned a title to it: Warhawk. Several other sites posted about Warhawk being cancelled, and before you know it, the news spread like wild fire.
So what’s the real deal, you ask? The PS3 port of the high-flying action game is definitely coming out. It’s just experiencing some…turbulence. And as far as Sony can estimate, fans will have to wait up to June 2007.
Oh, and have you heard that Warhawk may come out as a PS download? Well, there’s a high chance that is not true either.
