Whipping out the controls for Prince of Persia
Through the sands of time, so to speak, the Prince of Persia has evolved from side-scrolling jump-around adventures to full scale 3D aero-acrobatics with an attitude. Ever since Ubisoft had announced that they were bringing Prince of Persia to the Wii, everyone got excited.
As Ubisoft is keeping mum about it, Joystiq was able to pry some info from the CEO about the game. While the remark was made only in passing, it’s info nonetheless.
Yannis Mallat mentioned that he was able to play an early build and noticed how the controls were intuitive. As he said, the Wiimote could be used to make the prince jump around an all, while the Nunchuck could be used to whack his whip-chain around.
Not really how we expected it – we were thinking the controls were other way around. But hey, this is still an early build and is subject to change. For more developments on this, we’ll keep you guys posted!
