Who’s Your (Grand)Daddy? New Screenshots for Metal Gear Solid 4

Who's you're (gran)daddy?

Holy, receding hairlines, Batman! Solid Snake is gearing up for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and it seems like old age won’t stop him. And how come people said smoking was bad for you? Here, you’ve got a guy who smokes cigarettes like a raving steam engine (to increase his healthbar, even) and still lives up to a ripe age where he can still do special-ops, and all that jazz?

Well, if you still haven’t heard, this old chap seems to be heading for his retirement. Hideo Kojima announced that this will be the final game that he will do. And most likely, the final in the entire series as well. Now, regardless if that’s either a good thing or bad thing, it still seems that Solid Snake will definitely be pulling out all stops for this game. He’s going out with a bang, and he intends to keep his crown.

So maybe you’ve seen the TGS trailer already, but more screenshots wouldn’t hurt. And let’s hope that our own hair doesn’t turn gray while waiting for the game’s release in 2007.
