Wii Chess European version latest batch of screenshots
Chess fanatics who are also lucky owners of a Nintendo Wii will be happy to know that a video game is coming to the console that will definitely tickle your taste buds, so to speak. Dubbed Wii Chess, the title is expected to arrive in Europe on January 18.

Despite being a budget title, Wii Chess is holding its own against the other big Wii video games and is making quite an impression itself. We guess the classic board game coupled with the console’s charm is really something worth any gamer’s time.

Wii Chess is expected to hit European retail shelves on January 18 for around US$ 29.99. While Nintendo has yet to reveal any details about the U.S. version of the game, it was mentioned that it will be released as well in the region during Q1 2008.
