It’s been awhile since we last heard from homebrew coders Scip, Rodries and the rest of the MPlayer CE team, but now they are back to release a new version of MPlayer CE, a feature-packed media player for the Nintendo Wii. The latest MPlayer release has added more features and tons of bug fixes.

It’s been awhile since we last heard from homebrew coders Scip, Rodries and the rest of the MPlayer CE team, but now they are back to release a new version of MPlayer CE, a feature-packed media player for the Nintendo Wii. The latest MPlayer release has added more features and tons of bug fixes.
Version 0.76 changelog:
- Fixes for 4.2 update
- Stability fixes (hopefully freezing is gone forever now)
- Network (LAN and WAN) speeds increased
- Added directory play feature
- YouTube section entirely revamped
- Added Nintendo Channel content (quality may not yet be optimal) (thanks to yellowstar6 for his work on ninchdl-listext) [blip.tv was planned but couldn’t make it on time]
- Many, many more bugs fixed
