Wii on Wikipedia the Victim of Vandalism

Wikipedia has suspended editing of the Nintendo Wii article for reasons of vandalism. This week Nintendo announced the renaming of the Revolution, as they’ve hinted on doing earlier. As you probably know, a good number of people doesn’t agree with the name ‘Wii’, prompting some to launch protests of their own – seems Wikipedia wasn’t excluded. Here’s what Wikipedia says:

“As a result of recent vandalism, or to stop banned editors from editing, editing of this page by new or unregistered users is temporarily disabled. Changes can be discussed on the talk page, or you can request unprotection.”
