Wii players: Do CoD and Red Steel make you queasy?

Taken from http://www.familyhealth.org/clinics/northsound/graphics/headache.jpgWell, if you do feel a bit of motion sickness while playing shooters on the Wii, you’re not alone. It seems folks from Destructoid are also feeling the same problems.

During one of Destructoid’s weekly podcasts, one of them brought it up. “It’s weird, because it only happens in CoD 3 and Red Steel on the Wii,” says Destructoid crew member Robert. “I’ve never had this issue with any other game on any other system ever.”

Depending on how susceptible you are to general feelings of queasiness, that might actually happen to you if you spend too much time playing FPS games. If we’re lucky, it might just be an adjustment phase to FPS play using the new control system. It’s a lot like what happens when you introduce newbies to FPS games, except even hardcore gamers with inner ear troubles can get schooled by the control scheme.

Do you have your own stories of Wii and Wiimote-induced motion sickness? Let us know. It might just be a bad epidemic, like the flu, or the Chuck Norris meme.
