Wii Updates from Leipzig’s GCDC

GCDCLeipzig‘s GCDC delegates were left disappointed today by the announcement made by Nintendo Germany General Manager Bernd Fakesch. Despite concrete statements about several titles, the GM avoided to comment or give updates on Wii’s launch and price.

DS Pink is sure to come out in the market this coming October 27, according to the company. Recent rumors of a Super Mario Strikers Wii sequel and BWii (Battallion Wars 2) were also confirmed.

Furthermore, the announcement focused on Nintendo’s commitment to expend the market. The next target, as they said, are the women and older-gamer sectors. Fakesch started his speech by outlining the success of DS and titles such as Brain Training and Animal Crossing in Germany.
