WiiCan’tWait: Countdown to Wii-Day!

Screencap'd from their website a few minutes ago

While some stores will be receiving official Nintendo Wii Countdown Clocks, Scott launched his online Wii countdown clock at wiican’twait.com since around mid-August. If you haven’t seen it yet, check it out (you’ll need a Flash Player 9). Now if you take note of the image above, we have roughly sixty days before the Wii does its touchdown on gaming history. And if you calculate this, that would put the Wii’s release on November. Of course, the specific date is not confirmed. And aside from Nintendo, no one else seems to know when it’s really coming out.

Will it be on November? Will it be on October? Maybe even this month?

All the info and rumors (and info that turn out to be rumors) flying around the place are getting pretty confusing. That’s why wiican’twait.com has a disclaimer with the countdown: it’s unofficial. But once more information gets out or once the release date is confirmed, the wiican’twait countdown would most definitely have to be reset.

But no worries. The website supports RSS feeds. That gives us an idea though… Hmmm… Wish Scott would make a homebrew of this that we could put into our NDS. Or maybe some of you guys would want to help him?

Update: Scott’s just updated his countdown clock to the official release date of the Wii console. The new clock (below) is now folded back to a few more days, but, oh well, Wii *STILL* Can’t Wait!
