Wiiero v1.0: worms fight to the death
Homebrew developer BScrk has released a new game for the Wii called Wiiero, a clone of the classic game Liero. If you guys haven’t heard of the game, it’s like a real-time version of Worms. Details after the link.

Homebrew developer BScrk has released a new game for the Wii called Wiiero, a clone of the classic game Liero. If you guys haven’t heard of the game, it’s like a real-time version of Worms.
Basically, you and a friend play as worms who fight each other to the death. The game offers up to a total of 57 weapons you can destroy your opponent with.
The game has three different modes of gameplay: Deathmatch, Tag, and Capture the Flag.
Note that the game requires you to connect two Wiimotes to your console for the game to work. Be sure to go through the readme for more information on the program. Here’s a note from the developer:
Select “play wiiero” from the main menu by using the select/enter button (see controls section for more info) and you will be presented with a weapon selection screen.
You can choose each weapon individually using the D-Pad or simply randomize them all by holding down the back/return button (again, see controls section).
When both players have finished by pressing their select/enter button again, they will spawn in the arena. You will then be able to shoot, jump, dig, change your weapon, and use your ninja rope!
