Wiitar: Using two Wiimotes as a guitar

Jordan Sanborn has a script up at wiili.org that allows you to use two Wiimotes in tandem to simulate guitar playing. Don’t believe us? Well, check out the YouTube video that he’s got below (oh, and before we forget, emo alert! ~Wiimo):

Don’t worry, if the comments in the YouTube page mean anything, it seems that Sanborn doesn’t take offense from light-hearted emo jokes.

Anyway, first up in the vid is a little song in the spirit of Christmas, then it’s a demonstration of a few of the functions that he’s added to version 2.0 of his GraphPIE (that PIE for programmable input emulator) script. General reaction from the populace so far? Well, other than minor disappointments over having to use two Wiimotes, it positive overall, and people are already looking to add other functions or simulate other instruments like violins or drums.

If you want to check out the script yourselves, feel free to use our read link below.
