Wonderworld Amusement Park for Wii announced - Image 1As many a Wii owner will tell you, one of the biggest perks their console carries is it  makes for a kick-ass party toy. And while many of us are awaiting further updates regarding Super Smash Bros. Brawl, another mini-game medley has been announced by Majesco Entertainment.

Titled Wonderworld Amusement Park, this game will have players enjoying one of five fantasy areas, each with its own set of carnival-themed mini-games, rides and prizes. Players can also opt to customize their sprites (sort of like a Sim, or a Mii), with the game supporting up to four players. Majesco Europe‘s Marketing Manager John Merchant had this to say regarding the new title:

In summertime, nothing is more synonymous with family fun than a day at an amusement park. In Wonderworld Amusement Park, we bring this sense of excitement and adventure to the Wii with four player support that enables the whole family to play together. Only the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers let us reproduce the real life thrill of these games and rides from the comfort of the living room.

Wonderworld Amusement Park for the Nintendo Wii is currently scheduled for a summer 2008 launch. Drop by again in case we receive more details regarding this title.
