Woody, Buzz, and Nemo could be in a future Kingdom Hearts game

Square Enix has received a lot of fan requests to add the Disney-Pixar characters into the Kingdom Hearts universe, but the thing was, Disney only had a contract with Pixar when the first Kingdom Hearts came out. But now that Disney owns Pixar, things could be different.

“I am aware of the fan requests for Pixar characters,” said KH director Tetsuya Nomura in an E3 interview. “I will do my best. Maybe one day Pixar characters will be featured in the Kingdom Hearts series.”

By tapping into the Pixar lineup, there are a lot of quality IP from which a Kingdom Hearts game could work, in addition to a refreshing change of characters. Since Tetsuya Nomura has quite a lot of Kingdom Hearts games in the pipeline, he might be able to fit them in at some point. Maybe.
