Word’s out: Every Extend Extra Extreme (E4) for XBLA

Yesterday, we told you that Q Entertainment has an Xbox Live Arcade title up their sleeves and that they’ll reveal this title in the ongoing Game Developers Conference. Well, the word is out guys, turns out this new title is Every Extend Extra Extreme (E4) and will be a “continuation” of their hit psychedelic puzzler, Every Extend Extra (E3).

WorthPlaying was able to score some details on E4, and according to them, the main goal of the game will be to self-destruct and aim for massive chain reactions of explosions. You’ll have an unlimited number of lives but make sure you choose the perfect timing to detonate to inflict as much damage as possible. Other features of the game include:

• high-def graphics with Dolby 5.1 surround sound support
• full suite of online leaderboards, achievements, and gamerscore
• gameplay modes:
• S4, Wiz ur Muzik – play to your own favorite tunes from a CD and enjoy a customized E4 experience.
• H4, Versus Live – online multiplayer over XBL

That’s about all the details that’s been revealed so far, but we will keep you posted as Q (hopefully) divulges more details on E4 at the ongoing GDC. Every Extend Extra Extreme is said to be slated for release later this year on XBLA.
