World of Warcraft: Balance druids to get some love with 2.3

Here’s some good news for Balance druids! According to a recent blue post by Salthem, Balance druids will be getting some extra special attention loot-wise when the Zul’Aman patch (aka WoW v2.3) comes out.

The comment by Blizzard poster Salthem was spotted on a recent Druid thread started by Synneth, who enumerated (in great detail, we might add) the many problems plaguing the different druidic trees. Pertaining to the balance tree, Synneth mentioned that one of the basic problems of the Balance tree was a difficulty in finding proper itemisation for the moonkin-types, a problem which is exacerbated when analyzed on the PVP level.

Responding to this, Salthem assured Synneth on page 5:

Itemisation across the board is due to get some love with the introduction of further content in patch 2.3 and beyond. Balance druids are particularly getting some better attention in Zul’Aman in 2.3.

As a hybrid class though, it is normal that there are times when you are sharing gear with another class.

It’s certainly nice that Salthem took the time to address Synneth’s thoughtful post. While an ETA for these expected changes and tweaks has yet to be noted, at least it shows that they’re giving the druid class some attention in the loot department.
