World of Warcraft: Doomwalker changes patrol path in PTR

Doomwalker changed his patrol path on PTR, away from Portal - Image 1We’ve just a received a tip off from Imogen of the World of Raids Forums stating that the Fel Reaver monstrosity known only as the “Doomwalker” has now changed his patrol path in the World of Warcraft Public Test Realms. Now we don’t have full confirmation as of yet, but since the Doomwalker does patrol the outer sections of the Black Temple, this should be cause for alarm.

Just kidding! It’s most likely that someone at Blizzard was watching some poor guild get their Epic gear handed back to them in a silver platter while up against the big baddies inside the once-Draenei controlled structure.

The Doomwalker, known for being able to trigger his Earthquake skill at the most inopportune of times, has been the big reason why whole Raid teams have been reduced to stunned statues for most of their stay in the area.

Level 70 Raiders are getting owned, thanks to Doomwalker's mass stun. - Image 1When Blizzard said that the Black Temple would be hard for level 70 Raiders, they definitely weren’t kidding. Now it seems they’re pulling a few strings to make it easier for whole teams to be able to get to the bosses without having to face the Doomwalker first. After all, the claim stated that the Doomwalker won’t patrol the area close to the Black Temple Portal.

And most importantly, when out of combat, you won’t have to worry about random Earthquakes: he will no longer attempt such a skill outside of combat.

Good news to all you World of Warcraft Raiders out there, isn’t it? Of course, it’s still under observation, but at least level 70-capped players won’t be stun-ganked by a Level ?? Fel Reaver.
