Worms: Open Warfare 2 downloadable content to be released every Friday

  

For those of us currently having fun with Worms: Open Warfare 2 (Sony PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS), then here’s some very good news for Sony PlayStation Portable owners: every Friday going into November, Team 17 is going to be rolling out new content for the game easily downloadable by going into Infrastructure mode. That’s right, new stuff directly downloaded onto your PSP that’s relevant to the game where you control worms blasting each other to chunks. Awesome!

So what’s going to be available for download? We’re not quite sure what could be posted up for grabs, but if the first downloadable pack that went online is anything to go by, then it’s definitely going to be a blast. If you haven’t yet gone into Infrastructure mode on your PSPs to get a look-see, the first downloadable pack contained six extra flags (Yin Yan, Shotgun, Victory, UFO, Pointing and Peace) and four landscapes (Winter, Tugboat, Robot and Race). This means that it might not be too long before Team 17 starts shipping out new weapons for your Worms to mess around with.

Certainly a very good update for the game that fondly reminds us of games such as Warheads and Scorched Earth. Updates as we get them!
