WoW healers out for revenge

It's not enough you have to stare at a screen like this all the time - Image 1“If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.” If you’ve happened to forget this little treasure of wisdom and barked at the healer right beside you, oh boy, be ready for a crash course. Even with the great value a group may have once a healer hops in, there are just some players that overlook the importance that healers have provided to their group.

With the release of World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, nothing has improved much for them either. Healers in World of Warcraft (and yes, priests, shammies and druids, you’ve probably cried about this at home) have been disrespected, insulted, downplayed, beat up and kicked down for days on end.

Why? Because other classes just view the healing class as “second rate citizens.” Ouch, I mean, talk about an eye-burner. You get cross-eyed just trying to keep track of all the members in the group and this is what you get in return? So in solemn retribution, some healer guilds have begun to form supposed “blacklists” and tactics to get back on anyone who spits out more than he can swallow.

The result? Group leaders repeatedly die because of coordinated heal efforts targeted at only the kind folk. Some classes, like the Shaman, can draw in a much larger mob than a particularly offending player can chew. The next couple of scenes that follow might not be pretty, but it sure could release all the pent up frustration you healers have stowed away all this time.
