WoW PvP timer not showing up? It’s a bug!
After the application of the recent minor patch to the Public Test Realms, the timer icon in Terokkar in World PvP mode didn’t seem to show up for some reason. Silme of Maelstrom brought the issue forward over at the World of Warcraft Forums to ascertain if this was a simple UI glitch or a bug.
Unfortunately, it’s a bug. And according to Blizzard, it’s apparently linked to the objectives being set to “Dynamic”. Particularly, blue poster Hortus recommended that players who often notice such symptoms should shift from “Dynamic” or “Never” settings to Always on the World PVP Objectives options.
Or if you don’t mind losing the Bone Waste spirit towers to the other faction, either “Never” or “Dynamic” will do for you. Either setting particularly makes no difference to your minimap and World PvP settings as it stands, Silme pointed out. You might be better off leaving the captures to the pros.
