XBLVM revenues to sky rocket with US$ 92-million this year

The Live Video Marketplace has been around for almost two months now, and it’s reaping rewards far beyond some of us might have expected. With Game Industry’s recent report of XBLVM doing better than Amazon’s Unbox downloading service, forecasts are flying left and right of how high Microsoft can reach with Xbox Live.

A recent analysis from Emerging Media Dynamics has reported that Microsoft could actually make US$ 92.25-million in this year alone. Stretching this forecast even further, they say that by 2011, their revenue could sky rocket to US$ 726-million.

Forecasts are forecasts, and only time can tell if it’s proven to be true. So far though, it’s possible. What with the recent developments with incorporating an IPTV feature, we’re bound to see lots of action for the next couple of years.
