Xbox 360 Elite finally dated in Japan
Gamers based in Japan who want an Xbox 360 Elite will no longer have to import one. According to Microsoft Japan, it will be out on October 11 for 47,800 Yen (US$ 389). If we may add, it is far cheaper than the US$ 479.99 North American consumers paid for last spring.
So what do Japanese gamers get if they do decide to spend their hard earned Yen on Elite? The pack contains the console itself, 120GB HDD, wireless controller, and headset – all done in black of course. Aside from, those, it will also include HDMI cable, HD AV cable, LAN cable, and AC adopter.
Real gamers know that one cannot exist with one controller alone therefore black wireless controllers will also be sold for 4,750 Yen (US$ 39) each. Will the low price of the console be enough to establish a large enough consumer base in Japan?
That still remains to be seen.
