Wednesday’s Xbox Live Arcade update is just around the corner, and puzzle lovers will be getting two new puzzle titles to chew on: Word Puzzle and Switchball. The two puzzle games will be online beginning 9:00 a.m. GMT on Wednesday, November 7.

Word Puzzle and Switchball are just part of the coming Xbox Live Arcade new game additions for the next few weeks. Mutant Storm Empire will also be added to the XBLA library along with the two puzzle games, with more titles to come within this month.

For those who aren’t aware about the two new puzzle games to hit this Wednesday, take heed (so you’ll know whether any of these games are worth saving pennies for): Word Puzzle is a classic pen and paper word search game rendered in 3D boards. The gameplay is enhanced with the addition of new mechanics such as exploding word bombs, as well as five different game modes.

On the other hand, Switchball lets gamers lead a cool property-changing ball in order to solve puzzles. The ball can be changed into different physical properties, such as Metal, Power, Air, and Marble to plow through puzzles.
