Xbox Tab Back in Windows Live Messenger

Microsoft has currently updated their messaging service, renaming it Windows Live Messenger. Xbox Live users in US and in Japan may want to check it out – after a 14-month hiatus, the Xbox Live friends list has made a comeback.

Eventhough at the moment, the Xbox tab only allows you to see your friends list and see your friend’s profile page, the fact that the tab is back may be an indication that the XBL friends list will be soon combined with Messenger – hey, they did let other messaging services in, why not your XBL friends, right? If you don’t have the Messenger yet, you can get it from the Windows Live Services page for free.
