XviD4PSP 4.003 Unveiled

XviD4PSP started out as an a audio/video converter shell program for PSP that essentially takes your file and turns it into PSP playable files as well as PMP files. Around version 4, it has experienced some drastic changes or, I think more appropriately, an utterly complete overhaul by it’s developer, Winnydows. This time around, you can now input AVI, DIVX, and WMV formats and convert them to PMP 2.01, PMP AVC, AVI, MP4 (AVC), and MP4 (PSP AVC). And provided that you have AviSynth 2.5.6a and .Net Framework 2.0, you can convert videos for the PC as well.

Right now what Winnydows is sharing is version 4.0003. Here’s a complete list of changes he made:

Changelog for 4.002:

• Small logic fixs.
• Added button for saving avs script.
• Fixed autocrop.
• Added DVD and vob input support (I think even encrypted). Just select vobs and vob will auto joined to avs script. Just now without audio track selection.
• Fixed encoding of small files.
• Enhanced maximum video bitrate.
• Fixied – for AVC output sometimes lose resolution list.
• Added MPG import.
• Fixed installation of AC3ACM.
• Experemental added import of MPE MPEG ASF MOV MP4 OGM MKV AVS. Just try and report to me if errors happen.
• Fixed correct view munual set time.
• Fixed lose sound on some avi with ac3 sound.

And of course changes made to this latest version is as follows:

• Fixed wrong engine selection on AVI and PMP 2.01 encoding. Critical error!
