XviD4PSP brought up to v4.033

It seems this week Winnydows has been focusing and working really hard on his pet project XviD4PSP. We’ve just been informed that this user-friendly application which enables video conversion for the PSP and PC has been updated to v4.033. A number of bugs from the last version were fixed and what’s more exciting with this update is the new features that have been added.

Among these additions, the most notable one is the support for FLV inputs. Users can now convert and transfer their favorite videos from YouTube to their handhelds and yes, iPods.

The explorer tabs of the context menu have also been completely rewritten making it much useful. This version allows users to copy, move, delete, and play files direct from the context menu. Generation of names for DVD multi-titles was also optimized – each title now encodes to a separate file. This also means that the previous title will not be overwritten by the next one. Other more important changes include:

• Fixed editing job after stop.
• Fixed call to MediaInfo from jobs context menu.
• Unlocked max resolution for MP4 PSP and MP4 PSP 2.80. Also, added block for this formats – h.resolution * w.resolution must be less than 76800. Say, 480×160 is valid res while 480×176 is invalid.
• Updated Russian manual.
• Fixed block Multi-threading + FFT3DGPU.
• Optimised generation names for MP4 PSP.

Of course, there are many other video converters out there, but XviD4PSP offers a lot of features you can’t get in purchased software. And the constant upgrades being done by Winnydows just shows us that this application may have more added features in the future.
