Lots of mech fans think that the PS3 controller is perfect for a Zone Of the Enders game. In fact, we even put Z.O.E. on the list of the top 18 PS2 franchises we’re looking forward to playing on PS3. If you’re a hardcore Z.O.E. supporter, you might just receive the best news from Hideo Kojima: The game may make its way to the PS3! Actually, Z.O.E. fans consider this bit of info already confirmed but we’re still taking the news with a grain of salt.

The cover of PSM3’s latest issue brought hope for all Z.O.E. players. In it, Zone of the Enders 3 is listed along with games like MGS4, Devil May Cry 4, and Gran Turismo HD as being previewed. The magazine also states (as you can see in the picture up there) that Kojima has announced the development of the game and will be revealing more about it in the next issue of the magazine.

Zone of the Enders was developed and published by Konami in 2001 for the PS2. The game is based around mecha combat. These mechas were designed by Yoji Shinkawa, who is also the character and mechanical designer for the Metal Gear Solid series. Z.O.E. was initially released in most territories with a playable demo version of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty.

More news will surely come out of this much-anticipated mech game. Hype or not, we’re here to take a closer listen so keep browsing QJ.
